MyStory

My spiritual journey started as a young boy.  I was born in Kerala, India,  and brought up by devout Christian parents. Three families lived under one roof in the middle of a Betel nut plantation with only kerosene lamps during the night.  Morning and evening prayer and Bible reading were a must, and this cultivated in me a love of God’s word.   When I was around 8 years old, my mother asked me if I wanted to give my life to Jesus.   I said “yes” without any hesitation and received Jesus as my personal savior.  My hunger to be more like Jesus grew and I have sensed His guiding hand upon my life.

Micah 6:8

“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God”.

Along with my wife Bindu, and our children Josh and Nathan, we consider it an honour to serve the Lord and lead the Indian Ministry at New Beginnings.  The Indian church is a multicultural gathering with a vision to grow together in unity as a community.  We are dedicated to involving everyone, including children in worship, singing, reciting verses, and playing instruments.  It is a safe place to grow as the Lord intends, where everyone is not only valued, but their gifts and talents are cherished and encouraged.  We have adapted our service to a multilingual way of worship by singing songs in various Indian languages, such as Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam & English, but the main message is given in English. You are welcome to join us to worship the living God in spirit and truth.
